EAC Visual Data has the capability to run combined, or aggregate, reports for student performance on Tests, Rubrics, or Goals. In the future, designated Program and Department Leaders (such as Department chairs or Assessment specialists) will be given specific permissions for running the combined reports for program-level information. Without those permissions (or manually being added as an Instructor to all the courses for which you want reporting information), a person can only run reports for their own courses.
This feature allows for program-level assessment insights, such as:
- Student performance on different rows of a rubric used across courses in a given program
- For example, if a History program had a common rubric with rows for evaluating students’ argumentative writing skills, EAC can generate a report after combining all student performance data, including the courses in which the rubric was used, how many students were evaluated, summary statistics, and row by row rubric analysis.
- Student performance on a high-stakes exam + Test analysis for a given program
Similarly to Rubric Reports, Test Reports can be generated after combining data for all courses in a program that give the same exam. The report will have insightful information, such as the courses in which the exam was given, the number of students who took it, overall measures of reliability for the exam, statistics for each question (including p-value or measure of difficulty and frequency distribution among correct and incorrect answers), and a matrix of student raw scores. The statistical data contained in the reports can help programs identify struggling students, have opportunities for assessment revision, and gain clarity on what they most want their students to learn and if they are learning it.

- Student progression on Program Learning Objectives or Goals
HuskyCT and EAC use the term “Goals” to represent Learning Objectives. Once a program’s goals have been aligned or mapped to a specific assessment (or assessments) in HuskyCT, EAC generates a detailed Goals Report illustrating student progress on goals for various assignments. Some of the valuable information contained is average student performance, the percentage of students who met the desired learning target, student data per goal, and student performance data per goal per assessment.
The program reporting options in EAC Visual Data provide various combinations of student performance analysis and help Instructors and program leaders see progression on learning objectives, test questions, and rubric performance in real time.
